England will find out on Thursday who they face in next year’s Rugby League World Cup in this country as Prince Harry makes the tournament draw at Buckingham Palace.
It is his first public engagement since he and the Duchess of Sussex announced they want to step back as full-time royals last week, and brings increased spotlight on the sport’s showpiece event.
Prince Harry is expected to meet representatives of the 21 nations taking part and local children playing rugby.

The event is being streamed live across RLWC 2021 platforms including Facebook and Twitter and their website , while the Royal Family will also broadcast the draw on their own channels.

How does the draw work?
Hosts England are placed in Pool A, world champions Australia into Group B, New Zealand into Group C and Tonga into Group D.
The remaining 12 teams are then split into three pots as follows:
