Springbok coach and captain, Jacques Nienaber and Siya Kolisi, along with eight Springbok players and coaches assisted in packing food parcels in the fight against hunger at the Food Forward SA warehouse in Cape Town on Thursday.
The visit to the facility in Epping was part of SA Rugby Stronger Together for R32-12 campaign, the initiative where the Springboks are assisting with hunger alleviation through a unique campaign.
The other charity who will benefit from the campaign, is Gift of the Givers. To be part of the competition you can buy a raffle ticket for R32-12 and players and you will have to chance to win some of the players most prized World Cup possession’s from last years win in Japan.
Joining Nienaber and Kolisi on Thursday were fellow Rugby World Cup winners Mzwandile Stick (assistant coach), Pieter-Steph du Toit, Bongi Mbonambi and Steven Kitshoff, as well as Blitzbok and Imbokodo captains, Siviwe Soyizwapi and Zintle Mpupha.
